Members of Inishowen SAC joined SAR divers from across the country at the Search & Recovery Conference in Athlone. It was a very well-attended event with excellent presentations and powerful insights from recent SAR operations. A huge thanks to all the speakers and organisers at @diving_ireland.
Winter diving continued with a great shore dive at Massmount, Mulroy on Saturday morning. A 40-minute dive with temperatures from 8–10°C and visibility over 10m.
Marine life was plentiful among the eelgrass and rocky reef. Blennies, gobies, scallops, a lobster and a small-spotted catsharks all made an appearance amongst much more, with low tide attracting a flock of grazing swans.
